Buford & Buford was organized in 1985 when Floyd M. Buford, Sr. was joined in his practice by his son, Floyd M. Buford, Jr. Mr. Buford, Jr. graduated from the University of Georgia and the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. A former Georgia State Representative, he engages in a trial practice emphasizing criminal defense and plaintiff personal injury litigation.
Mr. Buford, Sr., now deceased, was a former United States attorney for the Middle District of Georgia during the Kennedy and Johnson Administrations and was credited with prosecuting some of the significant criminal and civil rights cases in the South during the 1960's.
